Current Opening: Electrical Engineer Responsibilities Employ independent judgment to develop and prepare system designs from concept and project scope criteria, user's meetings, collaborative team members, field surveys, and code research. Prepare electrical construction documents, develop design solutions and details for all phases of a project. Perform load calculations, distribution equipment selection, sizing, layout and scheduling, and prepare riser diagrams. Work closely with team members to complete design and construction documents on time and within budget. Preparation of electrical construction specifications. Generate revisions and corrections from review comments and red-lined drawings. Participate in client presentations and review meetings. Conduct on-site observations and prepare reports for on-going project construction. Qualifications B.S.E.E. from A.B.E.T.-accredited school. E.I. certification, PE license preferred. Five years' work experience, preferably with a focus on healthcare facilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, Microsoft Office Suite, and BIM concepts. Knowledge of SKM and lighting design software desirable. Familiarity with NFPA, IBC, local building codes and standards, and dealing with regulatory agencies. Proficiency is facility power distribution and lighting design. Supplemental design of the following systems is desirable: Telecommunications Nurse Call Paging CATV Video and Security Fire Alarm and Detection Lightning Protection Excellent communication and organizational skills Availability to travel and possession of a valid driver's license. Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks. LEED AP desirable.
