Current Opening: Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities Employ independent judgment to develop and prepare system designs from concept and project scope criteria, user's meetings, collaborative team members, field surveys, and code research. Prepare mechanical construction documents, develop design solutions and details for all phases of a project. Work closely with team members to complete design and construction documents on time and within budget. Preparation of construction specifications. Generate revisions and corrections from review comments and red-lined drawings. Participate in client presentations and review meetings. Conduct on-site observations and prepare reports for on-going project construction. Qualifications B.S.M.E. from A.B.E.T.-accredited school. Experience in HVAC and Plumbing/Piping design. E.I. certification, PE license preferred. Five years' work experience, preferably with a focus on healthcare facilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, Microsoft Office Suite, and BIM concepts. Proficient in HAP or Trane Trace programs for HVAC Design proficiency in Fire Protection desirable. Familiarity with NFPA, IBC, local building codes and standards, and dealing with regulatory agencies. Excellent communication and organizational skills Availability to travel and possession of a valid driver's license. Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks. LEED AP desirable.
