Michael D. Tootle, P.E., LEED AP is the Vice President of Design and a Senior Civil Engineer for AKEA Design, Inc. Mr. Tootle has 29 years of experience in Civil/Site Design; Roadway and Parking Design; Storm Water Design and Permitting; NPDES Storm Water Permitting; Erosion, Sediment, and Pollution Control Design; Title II Construction Oversight and Inspection; Regulatory Compliance and Environmental Assessments; Hazardous Materials; Hazardous Waste; Pollution Prevention; Construction Management/Supervision; and Construction Administration Services including: Project Management Plans, Health and Safety Plans, Project Site Safety and Health Plans, Quality Control Plans, and Environmental Protection Plans, daily inspection, and QC reporting. Mr. Tootle serves as the company Safety Officer, has USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification, and maintains 30-hour and 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health training. Mr. Tootle is an accredited professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building principles.
