Jonathan Ko is a Mechanical Engineer of AKEA Design, Inc. Mr. Ko has over 11 years of experience in mechanical system design for buildings and infrastructure. His expertise includes HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design for academic/commercial buildings and healthcare/laboratory facilities, and ventilation system design for enclosed vehicular facilities, tunnels, and stations. He has also performed numerous fire/life safety studies in accordance with NFPA 130, NFPA 502 and ASHRAE standards. He has extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in performing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis for mechanical system design. He has published many technical research papers and presented at international conferences.
